Maëva has recently begun expressing an interest in ballet. We may sign her up for lessons in the fall if she continues to be interested. She will dance around striking various poses: walking on tiptoe, standing on one leg, doing leg lifts, posing with one arm arced over her head. Here is her ballerina flower pose from April 4th:
Laureva is also quite the dancer and will bop up and down whenever she hears a song she likes. She has started sticking her right arm up into the air and twirling her wrist around in a sort of flamenco hand move. I'm going to try to get a video, but that's much easier said than done. She is 44 weeks old today, by the way.
