Lydia reported Wednesday evening that she had learned about "cardio-respiratory endurance" at school. I asked her what that meant. She said "Hearts and lums [sic] working together to make oxygen to your muscles." I guess we can count rote memorization among her developing skills. Her vocabulary still has a few interesting gaps, as you can see.
