Is it snowing?

Noticed first dusting on the very top of mountain a few days ago.  Today, after an unexpectedly long spell of sunny, fall weather, this morning showed snow dusting quite far down the sides of the mountain. Now, out the window, snow is raining down. Yes, that's what it looks like. From moment to moment it could be rain, snow or snain. In the last few moments it's been more snow. Still melting on impact with the ground. Some accumulation forecast for tonight, possibly raining off tomorrow. And so it begins for another season.
