Summit 2016

This week was the Garver Summit. It was in Fayetteville, AR, this year. I flew out Tuesday, arriving just in time for the Spirit of Garver dinner.

Wednesday, I did some work, then attended the water team meeting, and ended with a dinner event.

Thursday, we had the team competition. I was on the "disco" team. As a group, we underperformed. Our "boom box" didn't have much boom ... we should have used a phone and portable speaker. And, we let the spirit award slip away. I kept in costume the entire event, whereas most people changed into athletic gear. Pfftttt.

Thursday evening was the corporate update presentation event. Friday, I worked some from the office in Fayetteville. I made it back to Utah about 9:30 p.m., about 30 minutes late due to turbulence which had the pilot circling the area a number of times before actually getting the plane on the ground.
