Happy Valentine's Day! The boys went off to school with Pop Rocks and Rice Krispies treats for their friends. I picked them up from Spanish laden with bags of treats they had collected, and a balloon apiece. We must have looked a little strange riding home.
There was no snow in evidence when I awakened, neither in the middle of the night nor when my alarm sounded, but Rachel did spy some falling a little later. Thus Eric's lack of a school iPad was not an issue. He may have been a little under the weather, but a COVID test was negative, and he wasn't feverish or otherwise showing symptoms, so off to school he went. Tonight he has a stuffy nose again, so we'll see what tomorrow brings.
Dancourt delivered again today, with galimatias, a nonsense word meaning confused or incomprehensible speech or writing, which may derive from a Latin term for obscene song. There were several other contenders as well, but I'll keep them secret, for now. I'm about halfway through Acte troisième, and it's amusing, but I suspect the antics are going to escalate further.
Colin and I have started reading Eragon since finishing Howl. It's a bit slower going so far, but we just encountered the dragon, so it may pick up from here.
