Friday was day 13 in Guatemala. At last report, they were on their way to the airport.
Coe is having a book fair next week in the library and Nicole is on the organizing committee. I went with her this morning to help move all the books in. We also got started on arranging them, but she had to go teach and I had to come home for a meeting. She went back in the afternoon but reported they still weren't done.
Lydia has a friend over for the night. We played Machi Koro before bedtime. Lydia won by buying two mines, and that's all. Very efficient. In the morning they have a frisbee tournament in Burlington. I'm going to drive them up there and then go pick up some flour nearby. They have three games tomorrow and another on Sunday.

Is Machi Koro like Monopoly?
It is often compared to Monopoly, because you roll dice and collect "properties", but the game mechanics are different enough that the comparison doesn't seem very useful to me.
