Maëva's German penpal, Neele, left this morning. We had to get up at 5am to get her to the train station in Aubagne for 6:10. She and Maëva seem to have become fast friends over the course of her stay and Maëva is looking forward to staying with her in the spring.
Last night, there was a potluck awards evening at the school. Maëva and Neele won prizes for getting full points on two of the three French/German language activities that they had to turn in as a pair over the course of the exchange. We also watched all six of the stop motion immigration themed videos. Maëva's team's was definitely one of the best!

So great that they found friendship as well as language skills! Of course Maeva has a good example of nurturing collegial relationships at hand.
