Oh no, it's flat!

Today, we realized that one of the tires on my explorer was flat . . . I looked at it and, sure enough, there was a screw in the tire. So, we spent a little while this evening changing out the flat. Big deal, right? Well, actually, it was my first experience changing a flat. It was relatively painless, and not all that difficult. That being said, I'd rather not have to do it if that is an option. So, this week, I need to take my car to the tire place and get the flat fixed (they have a BigO tires, which is the place I bought them in Golden, so I doubt they'll charge me . . . I hope . . . the people in Golden didn't charge me in a similar situation before I bought tires from them).
Casey loaned me a book about the wisdom of groups, or something like that. I'm skeptical about groups . . . I think groups of two are best.
This morning, I went to school to work on my finite elements project. We are modelling heat loss to the environment from a pipeline carrying oil at the bottom of the ocean. Well, we have to use Ansys (a commercial finite element program) and compare the results with analysis using Heat2D, a program written by our finite elements prof. So, I learned how to use Ansys . . . which was a little painful . . . the help menus suck and I was unable to get the program to do what the tutorials told me I could.
Well, I have projects to work on. Maybe I'll learn something else.
