I think I may have figured out what caused the early-week ankle pain ... standing! Last Sunday, I spent a lot of time standing when we were at Jeremy and Tessa's to watch the football games. I thought that might have been the culprit, and I still don't know for sure, but I think I duplicated it today.
Today, Marcus and Dana came over to help me paint the dining room and master bedroom. I got up at 7 and, soon thereafter, I was doing prep work. The troops arrrived about 9 AM and, aside from a break for lunch, we went non-stop until almost 7 PM. We, basically, finished those two rooms. We did the walls and ceiling in the dining room and the walls in the bedroom. Honestly, it wasn't that bad. Oh, Marcus also primed the red wall in the bathroom, which will be re-painted to match the off-white walls in most of the house. We are going to have to do some touch-ups to both areas, but the bulk of the work has been completed.
As far as painting goes, that puts a big dent in the total painting necessary to get the house ready. We're still planning to paint the office and the accent wall in the master bath. The primed wall in the guest bath needs a paint coat and we are probably going to do the Nemo room too.

Oh yeah ... so ... about 5, I realized the dogs probably needed to go out. Marcus' new puppy was in the back yard, so I needed to take J&J for a walk. It was actually good, though, because I'd finished my work on the dining room. But, my ankle was sore and all I'd done was stand and climb up and down on the step stool all day. I need to remember to take ibuprofen before bed.
