Home again, home again

The trip from Pittsburgh to San Francisco via O'Hare stretched out...no problems in Pittsburg but spent much longer than planned in O'Hare. I think I could have flown from London to San Francisco in about the same travel time...but there wouldn't be any Lydia and Rachel in London! It was wonderful to see the girls, Roy, and Nicole and their beautiful house.

For some reason, they thought an appropriate Valentine gift for me was a lovely book called....Love Haiku! Anwyl and I are enjoying them. In honor of Valentine's Day, here's a sample (they give the Japanese pinyin and it looks as if the syllables work out more strictly in Japanese)
