Lucas points out the hay bales too.
I think that's remarkable, given that they aren't living on a farm and don't encounter livestock...at least I don't think they do. Is this the influence of children's books?
No. It's the influence of seeing hay bales all along the roads. Yesterday we saw a tractor in a field and I said, "I wonder what it's doing." Andrew's response, "Maybe making hay bales." I think he was right.
Yeah, we drive by hay bales every day to and from school.
Andrew doesn't miss much when he's riding in the car. Sunday I thought he was napping and I heard a voice from the back say, "The windmill is going slow today." Lucas can frequently be heard to say, "Gwamma, look! Black truck."
