Anwyl Off to Japan

Last night I went from home to drawing group at my friend Jessica's house/studio out at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, drove home to Oakland arriving about 11 pm, picked up Anwyl and took him back into SF to the airport for a 2:00 am flight to Japan, turned around and drove home -- which you would think would be fast at midnight, but they had the Bay Bridge down to two lanes for construction so it was like rush hour. I got to bed probably around the time he caught his flight. He is going to visit Rowyn, who is working at Google Tokyo for two years. Originally he was going to do a bike trip as well as visit Tokyo and be gone for two weeks; as I have school I didn't plan to go. The bike trip didn't happen so he will be home in a week, not quite enough time for me to surprise him with a completely redone house! Oh well.
