I think Nicole's idea for voting on a best post of the week is kind of fun. Then we could have the winner choose the next week's theme. For the first theme week, I vote for Roy: nice artistic camera floor shot!
Since last week's theme was self-portraits, I was going to suggest that this week's theme be critters: picture your pets. Now I know that not everyone connected with this list has a digital camera, so you can make your "pictures" with photography or with words.
Now although I could suggest a bunch of crazy themes like Evan did, let me suggest a few more saner ideas that might actually fly:
-pet portraits
-a day in the life
-my life in __ years
-favorite recipe
-childhood memories
-family gathering memories
-holiday memories (for different times of year)
-what I'd do this week if I were a millionnaire
-what I'm reading
-describe an interesting person you've seen in the street recently
That's probably enough for now.

Are you implying that all of my ideas were hogwash? I think a number of them were quite valid . . . although it was late when I posted and I can't remember which ones.
