I've made several orders from Amazon. I feel rather tricky since I can get 10 cents off per gallon of fuel for every $50 spent at the grocery store. I realized I could quickly get a free tank if I buy gift cards, though I wouldn't be saving anything if I were to only give these away, so I only get the ones for places I frequently shop, mainly Amazon. So all Christmas, I bought cards and racked up on fuel savings. Additionally, you can get 1% off your food total when you buy 10 or more gallons.
Not only am I playing this savings game, but I'm more motivated to shop from Amazon to save myself from going out in the cold with up to three kids in tow. So I've been making practically all of my purchases online. That means lots of boxes around the house. I have recycled the smaller ones but saved the larger ones for (fingers crossed) the move to Seattle. Today, I decided to fill one of those boxes and packed away all of the decoration stuff in our bedroom. The space is now quite bare. Forward thinking, I decided that staging it would be better with fresh flowers and books. This will keep things simple, non personal, and airy.
I have the packing bug, but don't know what else to pack. Seems like everything that is remaining is used frequently.
