Too Busy ...

Sorry to totally miss the hangout this morning.  We were much too busy.  In fact, I didn't even think about it until it was too late.  Andrew came home with me after church to pick up Mike and head to Sam's Club to get groceries.  Sam's Club was also too busy.  We assumed people were preparing for the "big snow storm" that is predicted for Monday-Tuesday.  The check-out lines were terrible.  But the line for pizza wasn't too bad, so we had lunch.  Oh, did I mention we saw a train when we left church?  Important detail!  On the way home from Sam's Club, we saw another train.  We unloaded the groceries and then headed to Lowe's and WalMart.  On the way back, we saw another train.  Then Andrew and I gathered up his small size shovel, rake, wheel barrow, and gardening gloves and headed to the back yard.  As we rounded the corner, Ed and his wife were backing out of their garage.  I waved and asked Andrew if he wanted to wave -- "I'm too busy!"  We used the wheelbarrow to finish filling a hole in the back yard with rocks and then with dirt, planted some sunflower seeds, and put up a little fence around it.  Then Andrew raked some leaves.  We refilled the bird feeders.  Then we went over to fix the concrete blocks around the base of the shed to try and keep the dogs from digging for bunnies when they get into that part of the yard.  We roughly leveled the blocks and I pounded rebar in the corners (Jenny could just grab them with her giant paws and pull them away otherwise -- and maybe still) -- which Andrew handed me out of the wagon.  He had to "take a break" a couple of time.  After our work was done, we took the tricycle for a ride up to the clubhouse fountain and then down to ride over the "bumpy bridge" which leads to the detention pond.  Then we came in the house to play for a while, watch the end of the Daytona 500 with Mike and play a few games on my Kindle before it was time to take him home.  When we were getting in the car, I heard another train, so we went down to Robinson and got there in time to see it going over the bridge, and we turned up Flood just in time to see the tail end of it.  Busy afternoon!  How many trains did we see today?
