Arigatou Gozaimasu

There's a Doc McStuffins episode in which Doc receives an action figure doll from her grandmother vacationing in Japan. The doll teaches Doc how to say "thank you" in Japanese. Maëva was watching this episode Sunday evening and repeating "Arigatou Gozaimasu" along with Doc. The last two days at lunch time, she has spontaneously come out with "Arigatou Gozaimasu" during her meal. Is she thanking me for being such a good mom and preparing her good food? Probably not. But I was impressed that she had remembered the expression. Although she pronounces the "masu" part at the end more like her version of "medicine" which comes out a bit like "med-sin." As I'm writing this, she's sitting here on my lap saying, "Awesome Guy, to the resue!" - another Doc McStuffins line.

Sounds like she's going to have her Mom's gift for languages!
