Lion Tamer?

Maëva was happy to see me when I got home from Lyon this afternoon. We were playing in the living room and she said, "You were at work with the lion." Um ... What? Then I got it and couldn't stop laughing for about five minutes. The city of Lyon and the animal the lion are pronounced the same way in French. Maëva must have been hearing Sylvain and her grandparents say that "Maman est allée travailler à Lyon" and mistaken the final element for the only thing she knows that sounds like that: the animal with the shaggy mane that goes roar! And after all, it's much more exciting to think your mother works with lions than with simple students.

When it comes to the classroom, I suspect Tanya is the lion.

I would think she tries to provide them factual information.
