Sunday Fun

Laureva had her second to last swim class. While the other parents had apéro outside, one of the moms took a few videos.

Laureva is getting to be a stronger and stronger swimmer. She's been enjoying diving for squids and rings in our pool with Maëva. 

In the afternoon, I accompanied Fred on what we thought was going to be a relaxing spa outing that she'd been given for her birthday. Turned out it was just an excuse to try to sell you stuff from mediocre beauty and self-help professionals. There was one competent practitioner, however, and we both enjoyed getting our eyebrows done at the threading table. It hurts, but it's fascinating to watch!

For dinner, I joined Fred and her visiting Canadian friend Angélique for a girls' night out at Le Petit Bistro in Cassis. We had a lovely view from our table overlooking the harbor. Quite tasty veggie pizza with shared in-house raspberry tarte and chocolate mousse for dessert. Yum!
