Last night we learned that the Seattle Public Library will close after today, Friday. The Queen Anne branch is always closed on Fridays, so I think it's effectively already unavailable. There goes that part of the plan. We own enough books to get by, for now.
We went to the school playground yesterday afternoon. There were a lot of kids there, so though the fresh air and activity seemed healthy, we'll have to think carefully about whether it's acceptable going forward. Today the weather is less inviting, though the forecast no longer calls for snow.
We made lunch and dinner at home, and after dinner watched Captain Marvel using a Disney+ trial. Eric fell asleep, but the other kids enjoyed it. Wednesday night we watched The Hate U Give, which Rachel had recently finished reading. The boys weren't so interested, but the girls liked it. Rachel watched it twice more on her own yesterday. She's thinking of re-reading the book for comparison.
So far, there hasn't been much conflict among the kids, but the stress of constant contact will surely build as this continues.
