Here's our travel itinerary. Because we're getting into Houston so late at night on Thursday, we reserved an airport motel room planning to drive on to Goliad the next day. Another development: Marshall, Anwyl's father, is coming with us with the intention of visiting Texan relatives. Anwyl's cousins are talking about congregating at the ranch of a family member in Victoria, although I'm not sure if their plans are final. Marshall is a really cool guy, going strong at the age of 92, beekeeper, pilot, retired mechanical engineer -- and I look forward to introducing him to you all. I have not yet made our lodging reservations, am planning to call the Antler Inn because that's where Galen and Kristen are staying.

Jenn's g'parents really like honey, we gave them a jar from the million gallon vat that you sent to Goodland. I don't know if it's "honey season," but if you had room for a little honey, it would go to a good use.
You must have forgotten, we met Marshall at Roy and Nicole's wedding! But he is a very nice man and I'll be happy to see him again.
That's what I was thinking . . . I didn't want to say anything, I thought Aunt Meredith might start feeling a little old if we keep reminding her that she's forgetting things. : - )
Anyone who has family in Victoria TX must be a great person. Be sure to bring him to any of our festivities he is available for!
