Played outside with Maëva almost all morning. Lovely sunny morning. We did bubbles, swung in the hammock, she played with rocks (making sand castles), played in her play house, and watered the garden. Lunch party at Marie-Elisabeth and David's with friends lasted all afternoon, until after 6pm. After Maëva went to bed, made three batches of blackberry muffins (each batch made 15-16 muffins). I had thawed the berries (picked last year by Marie-Elisabeth) and needed to get them cooked up. I put most of the muffins in the freezer (we'll shortly be having lots of visitors I can offer them to, I imagine). Also webcammed with OKC to see Andrew open his birthday gift from us. There was a French soccer polo, an Alaska book, a huge Looney Toons card and some chocolate candy. He seemed most taken with the candy!
