Up before 6. Might as well shower. Laureva feverish. Doliprane (French Tylenol). 6:30, at playground with girls. Swings. 7am up to the lodge to make coffee and chocolate milk. Wild Kratts for Maëva. Laureva fell asleep on couch. Dad and I watched the storm roll in. Canada Geese hanging out in the field. Severe thunderstorm. One loud clap blew out the WiFi (not to work again all weekend, so forced to appreciate disconnected country weekend). Storm blew through just before breakfast. Just a few sprinkles walking over to the cafe at 9. Breakfast of cereal, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy with Dad and Pam. Later joined by Meredith, Anwyl and Kristen. Rained all morning. Sylvain and Roy went to check out the Rec Room for a game of pool. Mom arrived mid morning with Rachel and Lydia. Evan, Jenn, Andrew and Lucas rolled in at noon. Those boys give super duper full body hugs! Evan brought Alaskan beer. Yeah! All 8 grandkids now present! Craziness in full swing! Lunch of sandwiches and fruit at Lodge. Pool in afternoon. People arrived throughout afternoon. All but Rebecca and family there by dinner. BBQ outside at Pavillion. Hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, smores. Rousing game of Dragon Tag with kids, Sylvain, Roy, Evan and Nicole. Everyone having fun, running around with big smiles! Cut off when Sylvain fell and hurt his shoulder around 8:45. Lots of pain. Shoulder did not look normal. Big dent in it. Girls went with Mom and Nicole. Dad drove Sylvain and I to nearest hospital in Cushing, about 20 minutes away. Arrived about 9:30. Paperwork. X rays. CT scan. Diagnosis: displaced clavicle fracture requiring surgery. They released him though because not considered emergency surgery so only performed during normal daytime hours. Must spend weekend in pain and contact a surgeon Monday morning. Thanks. Left ER after 2 hours with arm in sling and prescription for hydrocodone. Arrived back at ranch just before midnight.

I was missing your posts! So sorry Sylvain injured his shoulder.
It put a cog in the works, but now I'm back on track.
