Orca in the Desert: 1.1

Another week, another work trip. This time, Scottsdale, AZ. I asked Lucas for a stuffed volunteer, and he provided Orca. Fortunately, I'm only gone one day this trip, so there was plenty of room in my suitcase for Orca, who is quite large. But, if you're the top predator in the ocean, it makes sense that you're pretty big.

Orca, when learning of the assignment, was a bit confused. He's an ocean-goer. The desert? Sand and 110-degree temps? Really? Yes, Orca ... but remember, you're a stuffed animal. You'll be ok.

We just arrived. It was already dark. We took an Uber to the hotel in Scottsdale. We got a room ... two beds, one for each of us. I'm tired. Bed time. Lots to do tomorrow!
