I heard, today, that there is a strike that has shutdown the Bay Area Rapid Transit system. What is going on with you crazy Californians? Any Tromble-related impacts due to the shutdown?

Yes, Anwyl, who regularly commutes by BART, got up extra early this morning to ride his back to catch a special bus. He tried to catch it Friday, too, but it whizzed right by him and several other people at the regular stop because it was packed full. So he looked up earlier stops and, I trust, made it to one of them in time this morning because he hasn't shown up back at the house. It may get me tomorrow because I have exactly an hour after my Pilates/PT appointment to get to school for a meeting with a student -- I am hoping that the midday time will mean that allowing twice as long for travel as usual will mean I can get there in time.
