Andrew and Lucas have been helping me hand out candy tonight. Eventually Evan decided to take Justice and Lucas for a doggy walk, leaving Andrew and me to hold down the fort. In the less chaotic setting without Lucas, I noticed that Andrew was digging around in the bowl to avoid the packs of Skittles and only handing out the Starbursts. So I asked him why he was only giving out the Starbursts. His reply: "Because I like the Skittles".

I helped Andrew pass out candy to 2 kids right before the dog jog. He gave 2 packs of Starburst to each of the kids, despite the presence of readily available skittles. I didn't ask him about it, though.
But, heck ... I do the same thing.
He's a smart boy!
