Recently, I bought Jenn and myself Yeti mugs. They are awesome. Highly recommended.
Anyway, this morning, I filled mine up and was drinking it on my way to work. I smelled coffee. Yuck. I was driving Jenn's car ... does her car smell like coffee?
I continued using the yeti. It continued to smell like coffee. Hmm ... what did Jenn do.
Apparently, at some point, she switched the lids (last night or this morning). I washed it twice, once at work and once at home. Still smells. Luckily, Jenn only used my lid with water. It doesn't smell. I have now reclaimed my lid.
Observation: I seem to have a keen sense of smell.
Question: do other Trombles have this gift/curse?

Curse.
Bo did.
Nearly every mealtime now, Maëva plugs her nose and claims that she can't stand the smell of my food and/or her sister's food. Keen sense of smell or four-year-old antics?
No.
Is that a singular response to my question?
You didn't get it from me...your Uncle Anwyl might have passed it on I suppose, by psychic osmosis and in reverse as an uncle-in-the-future when you were born...he does have a very good sense of smell and will relate to your experience! I have had to humbly sit back and confess to not being able to smell whatever it is that is bothering him dozens or maybe hundreds of times during the course of our relationship.I just read this to him and he said "I thought you were going to say maybe hundreds of times while opening cans of catfood." It appears to be his cross to bear. He adds that he has given up on keeping lids matched to containers.
Well, I will consider myself to be in good company.
