Up at 5am. Depart home 6am. Arrival at ferry in Toulon 7am. Boat late. Depart 9h45 instead of 8. Long day on boat. Made slightly more bearable by Corsican beer: Pietra. Girls colored. Laureva practiced writing. Off boat in Isle Rousse about 6pm. Arrival in Olcani 8h30ish. Met by Jimmy and Léon. They came bearing gifts including Corsica stuffies for the girls from Sophie's aunt Elaine. Made up beds. Late supper. Bed about 11.

Yes, she does pretty well. She's very interested in writing and frequently asks how to spell things, names especially.
