First post

Dad and Pam departed around ten o'clock Sunday morning. I worked on my pulla for dessert. Colin walked to Ken's to get himself lunch. He also came back with candy, cookies, and marshmallows for hot chocolate.

In the afternoon, we rode the bus downtown to the Moore Theater to see the two-man show Potted Potter. The kids gave it a positive review, or at least a so-so, in Rachel's case. It was a very succinct retelling of the Harry Potter series with a lot of silliness and slapstick attached.

We rode the bus home, made dinner, and then watched two more episodes of Wednesday with Lydia. Now we're trying to get to bed a little earlier so that we can get back on schedule, starting with Rachel's seven o'clock practice in the morning.

Bread looks delicious. What did you think of the show?

I found it was easy to go back and forth between laughing along or stopping and thinking "This is stupid." In some ways it seemed long, and in others too short. The premise of summarizing all seven books made it repetitive, but they varied the form of the summaries enough to relieve that to an extent. But that also made it less coherent.

Well, if it made you laugh, it had some merit, at least.
