Thursday morning Nicole and I had appointments to donate blood at my office. We drove together, and Nicole would go to school after. But on the way there, Nicole got a voicemail saying her appointment was cancelled due to staffing. I checked, but didn't have any communication about mine, so we went ahead anyway to find out what was up. Just after getting Nicole a guest badge, though, I got a cancellation email.
This was already a make-up appointment. We were supposed to donate the week before Christmas, but the church where we've been going had a pipe burst, and they scrapped the drive that day. I was still getting over my cold, so I didn't scramble to reschedule immediately. They claim to have a shortage, but they're not making it easy to contribute.
