Postcards from Spain | Day 3: 6/26

Day 3:

Thursday, June 26

Seville

I woke up around 4am and had trouble falling back asleep. (Unfortunately this happened almost every day of the trip until we got to Barcelona.) Once it was actually a reasonable time to be awake, we started our day. Grandma and Grandpa brought back pastries for breakfast and then we all headed to the Real Alcazar. It was absolutely gorgeous and the gardens were vast and incredible! I loved seeing all the tiles as we walked around. Afterwards, went to the University of Seville, which is also beautiful. Dad and I split up from the group to get more information about the admissions process, and it was really helpful. The idea of college in Spain is starting to get a lot more real, but Seville might be too hot for me. After lunch at a Lebanese place, we had more pool time, naps, card games, and pizza/smoothie takeout for dinner. Once it was cooler out a few of us went out for some souvenir shopping to round out the day.

What souvenirs did you find?

Mostly postcards, but also a tile, a magnet, and I think Colin got a T-shirt.

Was going to the Unreal Alcazar an option as well?
