I love Caesar Salad and frequently order it at restaurants when I'm in the States. They don't do Caesar Salad over here. Over the years it has occurred to me at various times that I could probably make the dressing myself, but I never actually got around to it until this past weekend. I looked for a dressing recipe without anchovies since a friend of mine who was coming to the bbq is allergic. I found this one and I love the way it turned out. So yummy. I made the sauce and served it over chopped up romaine with grated parmesan. I didn't do the potatoes since I was also serving sweet potato fries. Also for the bbq, I wanted some kind of veggie burger recipe to make for myself and Marie-Elisabeth. A couple times recently, I've had a chick pea burger that I've enjoyed at a new English café in Aix called The Provence Shop so I decided to look for a recipe. I found this one and was very happy with the way it turned out. I used canned chick peas instead of dry so it would go a little faster.
