We arrived at an RV park this evening for our two night stay outside Black Canyon. We played mini golf, cooked pasta, and watched the fireworks from afar. Evan made a grocery run.
Nicole made a lot of phone calls. About an hour before we arrived our friends called from Seattle with the news that our house was broken into. Nothing significant was taken, but the dining room window was broken and our security system was destroyed.
There will surely be more updates about that as I get more news, but for now our friends and neighbors are helping out, and the window is boarded up.
I'm more looking forward to the updates from the park tomorrow.

Bummer about the break-in. Hope you can manage to have fun and not worry too much about it.
