We came to Pam's family home in Rock Island, IL on Wednesday. We left Ft Collins at 6 am and arrived at 9:15 pm. We had a dinner stop and lost 1 hour heading east. Nebraska is one lloonngg state. One of our gas stops was at Hastings NE where highway 14 meets I80. If we had headed south on 14 we'd have passed the Tromble farm.

Wasps are trying to build a mud nest on the front porch. I've knocked it down a couple of times, but they're back at work this morning.
We leave tomorrow morning (Saturday) to drive home. One more lloonngg day.
