The sheep spent a day immediately to the west of the house. Sometimes they liked to loll in the shade of the little aspen grove you see beyond them, which they have neatly trimmed up, but at this moment they chose the shade of the house.
Moving them almost every day has been quite a chore, but with the benefit of paying closer attention to what is growing on every part of the farm that we've been to so far, and finding some of the junk that had been left around, and which tends to disappear under vegetative debris after a couple of years.
They may be going off for a couple week vacation at a nearby farm that has good grass that will cover the time I'm in Kansas (June 8-11).

It looks like the sheep got sheared.
Kansas is the scattering or whatever we come up with for Gene & Evelyn's ashes.
Yes, the adult sheep got sheared. The young ones kept their coats.
