Sunday was supposed to be warmer than Saturday. We headed for Shoreview Park, in Shoreline, to walk to Hidden Lake. We drove all the way around the park before finding the intended parking, and then stayed on the playground for a bit. When we finally walked the trail to Hidden Lake, it was pretty disappointing. But we had a good time hiking the trails through the park, found some very ripe salmonberries, and played a round of hide and seek in a huge space empty except for trees.
Our next stop was the native plant nursery. Nicole had a few pots she wanted to find new tenants for. We also got a new variety of stonecrop for ground cover. We stopped for frozen yogurt, but still made it home in plenty of time for Amie's appointment.
Overnight, Amie showed signs of bloody urine, so Nicole made an appointment at the vet in Green Lake. Ours is closed on Sunday. We all went along, because we didn't know whether Amie would be coming home with us. The kids and I waited at the park while Nicole went in with her. They think she has a UTI, but also noticed kidney and heart problems. Still, we're going to try an antibiotic. She's going back tomorrow to confirm the diagnosis. For now, she's here with us.
It was hot, so we spent the next part of the afternoon inside. Nicole and Rachel went to Fred Meyer to pick up an airplane pillow to help Rachel avoid sleeping on her ears. A little later, Eric and Lydia played with water guns and Nicole and I did some planting. Tomorrow is supposed to be over 90.

The clinic is running a 1-3 day lab to see if bacteria grows to confirm UTI. As of now, there isn't enough concentration to prove one thing or another... so more tests needed to point in the right direction.
