Winter Decorating

We purchased our Christmas tree and Advent wreath yesterday.  We had plans to decorate it today; however, it is much larger than previous trees so we didn't have enough lights.  Before dinner, Rachel and I went to Target to get some more.  We found the style we already have, but there were two choices warm or cool white.  Thinking that ours look a little blue, I bought 5 boxes of cool white.  Once home, I discovered I went with the wrong choice, so after the girls went to bed, I was at Target again exchanging them for the warm white.  Now, the tree is covered in lights, but we have to wait until tomorrow to get the ornaments on. I have been busy today making dried sliced oranges with cinnamon cloves and glass peacock ornaments.  Tomorrow, while Rachel is at school, I hope to make cinnamon ornaments.  I'm excited to have the tree finish and photo ready.
