36 mile week

Yesterday morning, Pam and I ran down the creek trail about a mile and a half, where there's a school and a track.  She worked on her sprinting technique - preparing for the Delaware Senior Games in September, and I ran a couple of 400s, improving my time to a 6 minute mile pace (though I couldn't run it for a whole mile).

This morning I went up the creek for an easy run - without a paddle, but it was OK because I stayed out of the water.  I saw a momma and baby deer.  Mom looked like she wanted to go across one of the bridges, and was peering around to see if the coast was clear.

Speaking of deer, here's a picture of one of the little ones that have been eating my strawberry plants - taken out the front window of the basement room.
