I had hoped for a big walk on Sunday, but the weather did not cooperate. It rained all day, sometimes heavily. In the late afternoon I was finally determined to put on my rain gear and go, but it was suddenly time for dinner, and the opportunity passed. Fortunately, there will likely be no shortage of such chances in the coming months.
Instead, we spent the day inside. I played Mario with Eric, Rachel, and Colin, and Puerto Rico again with Rachel and Nicole. I read from a couple different books, and did the final two reading lessons with Eric, at his request.
Nicole and I watched some Trevor Noah and last week's Last Week Tonight tonight. Eric fell asleep on the couch, even before bedtime. It looked like it would be an early night, but both Lydia and Colin came downstairs looking for more food, so maybe it will be ordinary, after all.
