Sunday in Utah

Saturday was a long day of working on Julie's accent wall.

Sunday was a little bit of a slow start, but we headed back to the house. Sandy and Steve put together one of the bookcases. We got three. They are for the family room. Steve had to leave, but Sandy stayed and finished the bookcase project.

I had a little work on the carpentry (pulling misfires, setting a few nails, etc.), then I worked on nail hole filling and caulking today. The plan is to sand and paint the accent wall tomorrow. Fingers crossed!

We also worked on caulking in the garage. We got a lot of the done, as well, but stopped when the first tube of caulk was exhausted.

The plan is to paint the garage this week, as well. Wish us luck!

This evening, I gave a 5K a go. I was shooting for 20 minutes or less. I finished in 20:02! Next time ... although, I don't know that I'll be making a habit of pushing for new 5K PRs. I easily beat my previous best, though, so that's good.

Tomorrow is the boys' first day of in-person school. They are marginally excited.

Pictures: the one with me is Saturday night, the other is at the end of today.
