Sunday, July 11th. Thinking of David on his birthday.
I spent the whole morning in the kitchen baking bread, chocolate disco chip cookies, pizza and chocolate zucchini cake. Mid-morning, the girls got sent to their rooms for bad behavior. We transformed it into morning reading time until Guillaume arrived as they weren't going to get an afternoon rest.
Guillaume came for pizza, chocolate zucchini cake and watermelon lunch. He had his second dose of vaccine on the 3rd, so he's nearly almost reached full coverage. After lunch and swimming, we played a round of Who Pooped?
From 3 to 6, the girls went to a pool party at Laureva's classmate Chloe's house near their tennis club. They took the cookies. They met a twelve-year-old American girl named Adele who is visiting her grandparents next door to Chloe all summer.
Back home, we started a hangout after being absent two Sundays in a row. It was nice to see everyone again!
For story time, we started a new Katie Kazoo - Out to Lunch - and continued A Study in Scarlet. Sylvain finished the final Enola Holmes volume for French story time. With the girls snug in their beds, he settled down to watch the Euro final between England and Italy.
