Lovely! Cooper is a great find. But don't diss paperbacks. Sometimes they have helpful paratextual elements to help with understanding.
What are paratextual elements?
Everything in the book that is not the central text itself: epigraph, table of contents, preface, forward, introduction, postface, notes, etc.
