31

Today was not "just another day." It started weird ... well ... okay ... it started normally.  Let's start again.

At first, it was just another day.  The boys were up early (before 5).  However, getting ready, it was a little weird because Jenn was taking the day off.  Why?  She had scheduled it off when we were planning on going to Texas, and then she decided to just take a day away from the office.  So, she took the boys and I was at work by 7:15.

The morning was relatively uneventful.  I got a card with the generic crap that office cards have on them.  I left work a little before 12, drove to campus, talked to the kids about curb-opening inlets (interception capacity ... I should have had Drew Brees in to give a first-hand account of the Falcons' interception capacity!) ... then listened to a few "current events" presentations, which are generally underwhelming.

Back to work for 3 more hours ... then across the interstate to Mazzio's, where M&M were waiting with g'pa.  I arrived almost concurrently with Jenn and the boys.  On my way out of the office, Roy called, so I talked to them (handsfree) on my way to Mazzio's, but the conversation was done in by technical difficulties.  C'est la vie.

I think a generally good time was had by all at dinner.  I returned g'pa to Rivermont, then went to OU to collect HW assignments.  Despite having 1.5 weeks to work on the assignment, they couldn't turn them in at class (ending at 2:30) ... they wanted until 5.  I made it back home in time for Andrew's story time.  Long day.

The boys were at "school."

Jenn did "chores."

Tanya was drinking to my health! I'm so lucky to have a sister who will go to such lengths for my welfare. : - )
