Thursday, February 11th.
I was quite contentedly enjoying my day alone at home - exercising, preparing for classes, eating lunch, working some more, doing yoga . . . - until a colleague phoned shortly before 4pm to tell me that 26 translation exam papers had slipped through the cracks and not been printed, so they hadn't been graded. The colleague in question is on sick leave, so can't help out. My share comes to 9 papers that have to be graded before end of day Sunday. Aaaaahhhh! I printed them out and got started while the girls were playing Animal Crossing before dinner.
This afternoon, Maëva proudly showed off her A+s on her Huns history test and a math test. She had a geography test today and thinks it went well.
Before bed, I watched two episodes of Bridgerton with Jenny.

Julie binge watched it. Her and Sandy love it. Me? I'm not real impressed.
You're probably not as taken with the Duke... ;-)
I guess not.
If you haven't watched already, I recommend The Wilds.
