Lascours Lockdown, Day 335

Friday, February 12th.

Relaxing morning today with appointments at the esthetician and the hairdresser. Afterwards, I stopped by the Cave for a nice bottle of white wine to go with a fancy meal Sylvain's ordered us for tomorrow.
While out, I heard a few Covid-related things on the radio: In the past week, the UK variant has increased from 15% of cases to 20-25% across France. In Moselle (where Metz is, on the border with Luxembourg), a sudden preponderance of Brazil and South Africa variants has authorities worried.
Back home, I baked my weekly loaf of seed bread. This afternoon, I managed to finish correcting the extra batch of translation exams so I won't have to devote weekend time to them after all. Hooray!
After school, I made crêpes at Laureva's request.
Top Chef has started again. The girls started watching with Sylvain when he got home from school. Unfortunately, the streaming stopped loading halfway through, so they'll have to finish another time.
