Lascours Lockdown, Day 412

Friday, April 30th.

I decided to put off driving up to the university to pick up another big batch of papers to grade until Monday when the ten-kilometer lockdown radius is supposed to be lifted. That way I won't have to stress about the possibility of getting pulled over. So after school drop off, I did the exercise bike, baked my loaf of bread and got down to grading. I managed to finish up the third-year papers today. There were only seventeen of them.
I was interrupted at 11:30 when the girls arrived. I had forgotten that Marie-Elisabeth had something else to do at lunchtime today. Later, as we were sitting down to lunch, the mailman arrived with a birthday box from Zenyatta Way. Delivery times have significantly improved from a year ago!
After school, we went to the fabric store to pick out fabric for our next sewing project: fabric frames. I got each of the girls their own plastic sewing box as well to keep their sewing things in.
No story time tonight. The girls watched Top Chef with Sylvain instead. For sleeping, the girls decided to change beds. Laureva is sleeping up top in Maeva's bed, and Maeva down below in Laureva's bed.

Hope the bed switch didn't result in personality switch.
