Lascours Lockdown, Day 147

Saturday, August 8th. IMM D20.
The girls dressed in cute new outfits from Evan and Julie today:

Laureva made sinfully rich chocolate covered cookies for Maëva and I for breakfast (photo in the Bake-In album). Meanwhile, Maëva made a batch of brownies. After spinning, while I was making pizza, we started a game of Machi Koro with both the Harbor and Millionaire's Row expansions. The expansions mix things up quite a bit and I think we all enjoy playing with them.
This afternoon, I decided to read during reading time as well, so once I'd taken care of our online grocery order, I settled down with an iced coffee for about an hour of Dracula. I stopped a bit short to take off my toenail polish. While I was at it, I crushed a half dozen ants in the bathroom. I continued reading while the others went out to the pool. Then, I did chores while the girls played Switch: laundry, sorting girls clothes, changing out Maëva's dance photos in the frame in her room, gift wrap, cat litter, photos, repairing Laureva's rocking chair which had lost its back . . . Now it's 6:30pm and I believe I deserve a beer! Cheers!!
