Lascours Lockdown, Day 158

Wednesday, August 19th. IMM D31.
The girls didn't come home from next door until nearly 9am as I was finishing up my spinning. After, I helped them do their sortings on the Wizarding World site. All is well, Maëva got officially sorted into Ravenclaw and Laureva into Gryffindor. Then they had fun picking out their HP world "favorites." Also this morning, we made an official PAELP badge and I baked a loaf of bread.
This afternoon, I began reading The Red Badge of Courage. Reading, swimming and piano for the girls.

In the evening, the Limoges crew came over for apéro. I made cheese pizza and popcorn to accompany the pickles and breadsticks we already had. I put out individual bowls for popcorn to avoid germ exchange in the big popcorn bowl. The kids had pizza and popcorn, played downstairs for awhile, then did trampoline once the sun went behind Garlaban. Louis quickly got out as the big kid bouncing was too much for him. At some point, Caroline saw a report on her phone that masks are now required outdoors as well across 1/3 of the country. At another point, I had to apply first aid to Caroline's head. She bashed it into the corner of the bar when she was getting up from changing Louis. She had about an inch-long cut, but luckily it wasn't deep at all and didn't bleed much. We decided it wasn't necessary to rush off for stitches. Otherwise, it was an enjoyable couple of hours. Now, we won't see Caroline and Vincent again until Christmas.
