I thought it would be nice to make a special treat for Maëva's afternoon half-birthday snack on Thursday, so while she was taking her afternoon nap, I made up a batch of honey muffins. This is a tried and true recipe that Sylvain and I both enjoy (in spite of the fact that Sylvain generally doesn't eat cake-type stuff and hates honey). Maëva generally likes the bread-y type things I make so I was sure she would enjoy the muffins. However, she wouldn't even try a tiny piece. She only wanted banana. The ungrateful behavior is already beginning. Woe is me.
Yesterday afternoon, I decided to make carrot cake as I had quite a few carrots that needed to be used up. It's quite delicious, I say, and was more successful with Maëva at snack time. She ate three or four little pieces. Carrot cake and pasta salad. My lunches this week are going to be super yummy!

Yuck. :-)
I'll eat Evan's....
Do you really think that is a good idea? Tanya usually makes food that people like, but you don't want to overdo it and end up feeling "bleh" like you did the other night. Moderation, MT, moderation.
My new mantra: maaaaa ----- dooooooooo ---- raaaaaa----- shunnnnnnnnnnnn.
