Long Day

My current version of a long day:
4:30 am Wake up, Shower, Get dressed, Make sure house is ready for cleaning lady
5:30 am Leave house
5:45 am Park in Aubagne, Buy parking ticket, Put ticket in car, Wait for 6 am train to Marseille
6:00 am Catch train to Marseille
6:30 am Transfer to 6:45 train to Lyon
8:30 am Arrive Lyon, Catch subway and tram to campus
9:30 am Arrive university, Make sure everything's ready for 10 am class
10:00 am First class
11:45 am Eat a bit of pasta salad before 12 pm class
12:00 pm Second class
1:45 pm Eat a mandarin orange before 2 pm class
2:00 pm Third class
3:45 pm Classes over for the day! Catch tram and subway back to train station
4:45 pm Arrive train station. Finally enough down time for a coffee break and reading, followed by a beer break and catching up on Reader posts.
6:00 pm Catch TGV back to Marseille
7:45 pm Arrive Marseille to learn that train to Aubagne is delayed 15 minutes. But I'm lucky, half of the scheduled trains have been canceled due to employee disgruntlement over the assault of a train worker.
8:45 pm Finally arrive back in Aubagne, twenty minutes late. Drive home.
9:00 pm Arrive home! Relax on couch with a book and a bowl of cereal for dinner.
Long day. Seven hours of travel for six hours of teaching. But at least I only have to do it 23 more times.
