It's been a dark year or so for the orchids of the Tromble-Giraud household who have been quite neglected and haven't bloomed in ages. I even lost one this year. I finally had to admit it was gone and needed to go the way of the compost pile. So now I'm down to four. But I've just been looking at green leaves for months and months. However, in the past few days, one of my plants has sprouted a bud stem which has been growing consistently. Yeah! There's hope for more orchid flowers in the near future. I could have possibly titled this post "Great White Orchid Hope" except that I no longer remember what color flowers each plant produces.
